IntersectionAlliesisn't just a book. It's a mirror in which kids of all genders, races, sexualities, abilities, cultures and origins can see their whole selves reflected, respected and celebrated. In a world increasingly fractured by xenophobia, racism, ableism, homophobia, and transphobia, this book teaches the meaning of community to kids and parents alike.
The brainchild of three women-of-colour sociologists, IntersectionAllies is a smooth, gleeful entry into intersectional feminism. The nine interconnected characters proudly describe themselves and their backgrounds, involving topics that range from a physical disability to language brokering, offering an opportunity to take pride in a personal story and connect to collective struggle for justice. The group bond grounds the message of allyship and equality. When things get hard, the kids support each other for who they are.
Advocating respect and inclusion, IntersectionAllies is a necessary tool for learning to embrace, rather than shy away from, difference. Featuring gorgeous illustrations on every page by Ashley Seil Smith, as well as powerful introductions by activist and law professor Dr. Kimberl Crenshaw, who coined the term intersectionality, and Dr. Ange-Marie Hancock Alfaro, author of Intersectionality: An Intellectual History.
'[A] celebration of solidarity, allyship, and community...A welcoming resource for conversations about equality and social j

Im actually pleasantly surprised at how nice this looks. I bought it to use a drink station for Thanksgiving and now I can put my bar items on it. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Bar Cart
Size: 3 Tier Black-31.5"W
The instructions to assemble this bar cart needs to be improved. The schematic drawings are not easy to follow. It would make sense to have some written instructions along with the pictures. All the pieces were very well labeled which was a plus. The good news is once the item was put together look just like it is described.

Nice to have
Size: 3 Tier Black-31.5"W
This cart is nice for party. It is easy to assemble and use for multi-purposes. The best part is it has wheel and makes it so easy to move the cart around and hall things in/out for part or gathering. The 3 tiers make space for can carry a lot of items in the cart all at once. The quality is very good. Is just a very useful cart to have in the house.
