Our engineers spent months designing, testing, and perfecting this product to develop a 10 whp / 8 wtq bolt-on power increase. In addition to the impressive power increase, our engineering team ensured that safe A/F ratios are maintained throughout the entire powerband. The core of this intake is our mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe that provides a smooth path for airflow. Additionally, the CNC-machined mass airflow (MAF) housing and air straightener ensure laminar airflow across the sensor to provide accurate readings. This intake is designed as a true cold-air system, with filter placement outside the hot engine bay to reduce the chance of heat soak. The kit also includes a fully serviceable Mishimoto oiled air filter, which provides a 16-percent increase in filter surface area, allowing for greater airflow and superior filtration. The Mishimoto BRZ/FR-S Performance Cold-Air Intake includes a powder-coated air diverter that mounts behind the front bumper and ensures that the radiator, AC condenser, and air intake are supplied with copious amounts of cool air. This intake provides power you can hear! It is a huge upgrade for intake noise and provides a nice throaty intake tone, especially under full throttle. Did not disappoint!
Perfect Fit: Bolted right up to the engine block without any shimmying or modification needed.
Strong Crank: The motor sounds powerful and turns the engine over significantly faster than my old, dying unit. Once hooked up, the car fired up instantly on the first turn of the key. No grinding, no clicking, just a smooth, high-torque start.
Price: A lot more cheaper then your average auto parts stores.
Build Quality: The solenoid connections are solid and the threads were clean.
Packaging: The box arrived on time but a bit beat up, but the starter itself was well-protected in bubble wrap and undamaged.

Still working great!!
I really didn't have a good feeling about ordering a starter online, but I was in a situation where I didn't have the time to get to the auto shop before my day off and Amazon could get me this part just in time. So I reluctantly gave it a shot.
When it showed up it had a couple of small black pieces of plastic loose in the box similar to the pieces shown in another review on here. It didn't look like they from anything functional. I really needed to get my wife's car running so decided to install it anyways.
The install was easy and it was a perfect fit. The only draw back would be that the signal wire didn't click in place like the signal wire on the original starter. But it was a snug fit.
It has been installed and working great for a month now. Very happy with my purchase.
It also had a message from the seller when I opened the box giving the starter a 2 year warranty. Very cool.
If the starters fails in the next two years I'll get on here and edit my review. So if your reading this then it is still working great.
