Texas Ash Bowl Blank TA-229 10" x 10" x 5" 9.2 lbs. This is a large bowl blank of Texas Ash, suitable for a bowl of approximately 10" diameter and 5" depth. This is a half-log blank with full bark on the back side, ready to be turned as either a conventional or natural-edge bowl. This bowl blank contains a nice crotch with attractive grain patterns associated with the branching. It does include some pith. There are some pith-associated cracks that you'll need to either avoid or stabilize. The bark is complete and is mostly tight, though at the edges you may wish to stabilize to ensure it is tight while turning. Parts actually fit 11S.
Size: 23 Pack
Bought replacement parts from another vendor, but the brushes are nylon and do not last. Filters did not fit 11S, so I had to throw them away. Parts from this current kit fit perfect, brushes are rubber and seem more sturdy. Have not had to change them yet, but there were 10 replacement brushes in the kit, as the other kit only provided 4. Changed the filter also, picks up a lot more dust and dirt.
