Classic in its time and any other, we've got this Fender Custom Shop '51 Telecaster Journeyman Relic in an au-naturale Aged Nocaster Blonde! For a timeless look into the history of Fender's iconic singlecut, this Custom Shop features musical elements both reverent and tradition-breaking. This retro-style Telecaster builds up with the Custom Shop's attention to detail at every level for a totally impressive impression. Ready or not!

Hearkening to Fender's foundational years in the early '50s, this Fender Custom Shop '51 Telecaster lines up with plenty of cool, highly musical elements that play familiarly to original Fender models with plenty of fine creative liberties taken. Everything here starts with a two-piece, treble-seam-off-center ash body, sorted for weight. "Sorted for weight," this Telecaster's body, during construction, was selected among a lot by a Fender Custom Shop builder for its light weight among said lot. This lighter ash pick contributes to the entire instrument landing just above seven pounds.

Along with its comfortable weight and classic Fender ash resonance, this two-piece body additionally acts as an excellent canvas to wrap a Fender Custom Shop Journeyman Relic lacquer finish treatment around. Journeyman Relic, a popular level of Relic finish wear, emulates a finish with plenty of years of play and time under stagelights. Fender's Nocaster Blonde color aligns with this gently aged Relic treatment for an iconic aesthetic at every angle.

From here, this Fender Custom Shop brings on a quartersawn AA flame maple neck in a 1951 "U" profile. This fuller, "U" profile measures with custom dimensions that go from .845" thick at the first fret to .900" at the twelfth. What's more, this custom-dimension neck translates with a unique feel in hand from its unfinished Relic back for direct wood grain in hand. The neck then fills out to a fingerboard bearing twenty-one frets with the Custom Shop's 6105, or Narrow Tall, fret wire. This board exhibits a break from Fender '50s tradition with a compound radius measurement that starts at a vintage-accurate 7.25" near the nut and flattens drastically to a modern 12" toward the body.

Sonically, two hand-wound Nocaster '51 single-coil pickups land with this Tele. A retro-style, bright, and warm Telecaster tone permeates throughout this guitar shaped by '51 Nocaster Modified wiring for a vintage-accurate tone-shaping experience. Topping everything off here, this Fender Custom Shop features a number of hardware specifications. A bone nut and Vintage-Style tuning machines land at the headstock for smooth stringing while a Telecaster 51-54 bridge appears with barrel saddles. This Telecaster travels with a Strat/Tele Tweed hardshell case included.

Tax Hero!
Format: Paperback
I was scraping pennies for supplies in my small coffee shop located in the lowest level of an office building in Cleveland, OH. "Bookkeeping" consisted of a greasy shoe box nestled in the corner near the window. Tax wasn't an immediate concern because I barely had enough to pay rent. Several years passed. The box became larger and greasier. A friendly customer asked whom I would suggest for tax filing. I said, "When you find someone, let me know." When he visited again, he gave me a business card. By now, the box was bulging. I would have been embarrassed to approach a total stranger, but my customer was kind and I imagined his connection being the same. I got a cleaner, newer box and stuffed receipts corner to corner for facing the music. What does my story have to do with Doug's book? That scary first filing with the kindest person I've met in my long entrepreneurial career taught me a valuable lesson. By the time the accountant stopped laughing at my "bookkeeping", he said, "I'm going to help you this year because you're trying to be a serious business person, but don't ever come to my office again with a shoebox. You have to keep records even if its time consuming. You also need to be incorporated, I'll help." Lucky you! You have a hero.....Doug Collins.

Game Changing Information!
I bought this book months ago and like many others, it found its way to a pile of books I like to call "I'll read them eventually". Yesterday was eventually. A simple read, finished it in one sitting and came away with mountains of info that will save me thousands and even get me money back on previous years taxes. Great info on tax investing strategies as well, well worth the purchase price, and I can't wait to write it off!!

Great advice & tips
Format: Kindle
This book is helpful to new business owners with little to no experience with business tax preparation. I had about 5 pages that was helpful to me because I have had my small business for 8 years and familiar with some of the home based business write offs but there was some useful information that. Are it worth the read.

Easy read, but very repetitive in the beginning
Format: Paperback
It’s an easy read, however it’s very repetitive. I’m about halfway through the book and it still doesn’t really tell me anything. I need to know it’s just talking about. It’s important to keep good record keeping and we will talk about it in the later chapters like I’m already on chapter 13 on page 60 and I’m still waiting to learn more stuff because it’s just repetitive. I’m hoping that changes but it’s a little bit frustrating.
