Attached to the body with a robust 6-bolt connection, the neck of the Descent W is built using roasted maple, which is heat treated by Reverend to remove impurities and deliver a more seasonally stable and better looking wood out of the oven. Topped with a rosewood fingerboard, divided by 22 frets with dimensions of 0.110" width and 0.050" height, the Descent W features a total scale length of 26.75".

What sets this Descent W apart from its sibling, the Descent RA, is its Wilkinson WVS50 IIK Tremolo bridge. This exceptional bridge design allows players to use expressive pitch modulation without sacrificing tuning stability, and in true baritone fashion, take this beauty to the depths of the guitar's range and back while still being in tune.

A Reverend Nuevo 90 in the bridge and the Reverend Cleancut in the neck position get the job done, and then some: the Nuevo 90 delivers classic vintage P90 tones with enhanced response, making it ideal for blues, classic rock, and old-school punk. On the neck, the Cleancut provides a cleaner, leaner tone with punchy P90 characteristics, making it perfect for retro rock, surf, and country genres. The controls include Volume, Tone, and the innovative Bass Contour, allowing tonal sculptong or dialing the low end back if you want a less baritone-ish sound.
