Maton Concert Ukulele Cedar and Victorian Blackwood

From our friends at Maton regarding this Maton Concert Ukulele:

"Victorian blackwood has long been a favourite tonewood at Maton and it was decided from the beginning that blackwood would be the best timber for the ukulele bodies, not least because it is a close relative of Hawaiian koa, the traditional wood for the construction of ukuleles. The back, sides and soundboard are made and braced as lightly as possible so that the instrument is super responsive to every note.

The Queensland maple neck is shaped for maximum comfort and is designed to be a tone enhancing as possible. The CNC produced Indian rosewood fingerboard features top and side dots and is fretted with Dunlop 6260 nickel silver fretwire for ease of playing and brilliant intonation.

The Indian rosewood bridge is based on some classic old ukulele designs with the intention of creating as much vibration as possible in the soundboard. Underneath the soundboard is an elliptical shaped spruce bridge plate which is designed to spread string vibration as evenly as possible and to reduce stress points developing around the bridge. The use of bone as a nut and saddle material is time honoured and is particularly effective on a ukulele as it helps to emphasize the elusive lower and mid frequencies can often be lacking in such small instruments.

Gotoh’s light weight UK700 tuning heads are the perfect match for this instrument. The 1:15 ratio provides excellent control over tuning while the geared mechanism is so much easier to use than traditional friction pegs.

Aquila’s Nylgut strings provide excellent tone, stay in tune and intonate perfectly. They replicate the warm but bright sound produced by the gut strings used in days gone by and so complement this beautifully. The concert model has a scale length of 14 ¾” which provides ease of playing and great tone.

The Maton Concert Ukulele is finished in Maton’s tuned satin pre-catalyzed nitro finish which provides maximium protection for the delicate tonewood without inhibiting tone or volume."

This Ukulele features a Cedar top which makes for an incredibly warm and inviting sounding instrument.

Includes Original Hardshell Case.

Better than woxer imo
Color: Multicolor B (5-pack), Size: Large
I've been buying Woxers, but theyre super expensive for what youre getting. These are similar in feel and style so i switched over. Another nice thing is i dont have to deal with wedgies like i do with the woxers. Theyre not perfect for wearing when its hot, youre still gunna sweat and these dont wick away sweat super well. But i havent seen many brands that do, and these are not the worst. Im 5'7" and 145lbs and these are comfy and tight enough but not snug. They still leave a bit of indentation on the love handles. You CAN tell that youre wearing them under pant if they are tight.

Super soft and comfortable!
I haven't bought new underwear in forever. I used to wear thongs, but now find them incredibly uncomfortable. The last few times I've tried to buy new underwear, the sizing was either way off (I'm a medium, but gave up after having to return them for a large and then extra large) or the quality was horrible (two brands stretch waaaay out and they can fall down while wearing them (I have larger ass-ets, so they shouldn't start to slide down during use). I tried these after buying some bamboo pyjamas and I love them! They are incredibly soft, comfortable, and stretchy. I can use them all day, and they work well, whether I'm lounging on the couch or wearing them under my spandex shorts at the gym, they don't ride up or slide down. They are both comfortable and look sexy, while providing support in all the right places. I haven't had them too long, so I can't speak on the durability, but they appear to be of good quality and I plan to order more, this time without the band.

Well made, light fabric. Waist doesn't roll.
These bamboo underwear really do keep you cool. They fit true to size, and wear easily. the wide elastic waist band doesn't roll on me. They are comfortable to wear, washed and dried easily. The material has some stretch to it, but not a lot. Well made, no stray strings. Perfect fit for me. Just what I was looking for.

Good quality, smooth feel
I got these briefs so recently that have washed just one pair so far. First off, these are very comfortable, the material is soft & bordering silky, good quality sewing. Wash well and minimal if any shrinkage. They do come a bit wrinkled from the dryer but hey, these are underwear and will go on smoothly. If it were a t-shirt, I would look sloppy. I feel the sizing is accurate. No rolling and these don't announce themselves under clothing. Planning on getting more of these boxers and replacing my old panties.

A little snug on the thighs
Size: Medium, Color: Multicoloured G (5-pack)
Super comfy, soft and thin. For reference, I'm 5'6", 135, athletic build. I bought medium. I almost returned them because I thought they were a bit too snug on my thighs, and my thighs are not large at all. I was concerned about panty lines under snug clothing. But, because they're thin, I figured they would probably stretch, so I kept them. So far, I've only worn them under a night shirt, but they're super comfortable and they dont ride up at all. Very nice, but if your thighs are a little thick, you probably won't like them.
