• The darkening of vanilla soaps is a natural occurrence due to vanillin content.  Vanilla soap can be any shade from light ivory to a dark, cocoa brown. 
  
  Gilded Olive soaps are hand cut and stamped, and may vary slightly in weight, with an average of about 4.2 oz. each. They are vegan, palm-oil free, phthalate-free and contain no detergents or synthetic hardeners.  
  
  Due to high glycerin content, it's best to use with a draining soap dish to help your soap last as long as possible.
