With over 20 different concentrated amino acids this essential additive is needed for Ultra Low Nutrient Systems since it is one of the main sources of energy for corals and filter feeders. Amino Acids can be used in any aquarium but is a necessity for a ULNS and the probiotic system.

Amino Acids are used in many successful reef tanks and can be employed in almost any type of reef tank. When corals and filter feeders catch food particles, they need the energy to help digest and break down the food particles into their simple elements. Amino Acids help by increasing the metabolism while helping promote growth and vitality as well.
