More than 40 animals were rescued from a suspected hoarding situation in Michigan, where overcrowded living conditions and a lack of proper care left many with urgent medical needs. Among them are 17 animals now receiving urgent support, including Diamond, a senior dog, and kittens Willy Billy and Leroy.
Many of these pets arrived with untreated infections, parasites, and other critical medical needs. They are now receiving comprehensive veterinary care, including vaccinations, antibiotics, and surgery where needed, along with targeted treatment for issues like respiratory infections and dental disease.
After everything they’ve endured, recovery will take time. Alongside medical care, these animals are receiving gentle, consistent support to rebuild trust and confidence before they’re ready for adoption.
