First edition, one of 750 copies printed, this one a signed presentation copy, inscribed on initial blank. "A popular work among hunting enthusiasts as well as photography buffs ... because of the author's camera work. The first third of the book is mostly travel and shooting with the camera, but in the latter portion of the 1925 expedition and the ensuing expeditions, there is a large amount of sheep hunting as well as numerous incidents of hunting caribou, grizzly and moose. The book concludes with several lengthy chapters on North American big game" (Heller 21).
