Our intercoolers are high quality Tube and Fin designed for maximum efficiency within the allowable mounting areas It has taken us some time to find the proper designs and correct manufacturing facilities to meet our quality and performance requirements. You will see that this model does just that.
This is a competition model for the higher power late models of the MINI Cooper S including models F54, F56, R60 JCW models with B46 & B48 motors, 2015-18. Our intercoolers are high-quality Tube and Fin designed for maximum efficiency within the allowable mounting areas It has taken us some time to find the proper designs and correct manufacturing facilities to meet our quality and performance requirements. You will see that this model does just that. Some of those performance requirements are outlined below under ADVANTAGES.Advantages:
- The largest of our current line of intercoolers for those requiring the maximum cooling of engine intake air in competition events
- This competition model is 590mm x 225mm X 145mm with a stepped design with over 50% more volume compared to the OE intercooler and lowering pressure drop over the OE intercooler.
- Each intercooler is manufactured with high-quality Tube and Fin construction for greater heat dissipation. This design is more efficient in transferring heat and minimizes heat soak. Bar and plate will generally recover faster from the heat either in the engine compartment or repeated heating from energetic driving. Like at track events.
- Our intercooler design allows us to increase the number of rows in a given frontal area by up to 30% over conventional designs
- Lower pressure drop than restricted convention intercoolers
- Our intercoolers utilize powder coated finish for superior corrosion resistance over bare aluminum especially in the front of cars where rain and debris are blown into the intercooler at pressure and speed.
- Our intercoolers use cast aluminum end caps, a bit more expensive but they provide more rounded shapes for better airflow. Cast aluminum end caps give the best results in airflow and reliability. Each end cap is TIG welded to the intercooler core.
- The intercooler is ready for installation with stock piping.

90’s me be jealous 🥹
Color: #04 Bronze
26 years later, here I am- the sparkling unicorn of an adult the late 90’s child version of myself DREAMED of while coating ✨EVERYTHING✨ in glitter and shimmer. Only now, I have an Amazon card and the impulse control of a toddler, so I sparkle now 🤩.
Am I 40 years old? Absolutely.
Did my kindergarteners at school ask why I sparkle now? Absolutely.
Did my mid-life crisis self lie to them, and say because I’m a magical unicorn? Absolutely.
Did they believe me? ABSOLUTELY.
10/10 recommend, but only if you too want to live your best magical unicorn life!
Technical notes- the smell is light and lovely. It dries without a “feel” so I forget I even have it on. The shimmer is noticeable, but not like I rolled in glitter. I’m enjoying the bronze glimmer color, but I’m sure will be back soon for more. I could easily spray more if I wanted to be more blatant with my attention seeking. I will absolutely be using this stuff from now until I’m in my grave with no shame!
