Always known for their chops with high-octane instruments perfect for leads and solos of any metal variety, Jackson drafts another winner with this aesthetically and tonally unique guitar. Constructed from a carefully contoured basswood body with a through-body maple neck, this Soloist is effortless to sling over your shoulder and start shredding. A bound laurel fingerboard with jumbo frets make fretting with speed an accuracy easy.
It simply wouldn't be a true modern metal Jackson guitar without the tones to back up a visual presentation. Matching the striking "crackle" finish, three humbucking pickups are loaded into this instrument for a wide range of high-output, energetic, and responsive tones. A high-output Jackson humbucking bridge pickup is accompanied by two mini rail humbucking pickups in the middle and neck positions. Single volume and tone controls keep this configuration straight to the point while a five-position pickup selector switch allows for some real versatility.
This whole experience is topped off with a Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge system and nut. A black hardware finish treatment, pearloid sharkfin fret inlays and a pointed six-in-line headstock make this guitar look as sharp as it sounds.
The unique yellow "crackle" finish of this Jackson may make you feel like you're on hot coals - but rest assured, your high-octane heat is all in the fingers.
