When it comes to steering stabilizers, not all shocks provide adequate performance. There are 2 types, IFP and Emulsion, while Emulsion shocks may seem like a good play because they are cheap, however, they are NOT intended to be used on stabilizers because the oil and gas are mixed, having them mounted in a horizontal position allows the oil to settle on the bottom. This results in the piston being half-submerged in oil, thus reducing its life span, on top of their tiny pistons, creates a piss-poor ability to control your steering and suspension.
Enter Carli's High & Low-Mount Steering Stabilizer. The main features are the Differential Guard and Bracket, which provide an alternate means of mounting the low-mount stabilizer, changing its direction of correction. Mounting the fixed side of the stabilizer on the Diff Guard Bracket and the clamp to the steering affects a push toward the passenger side to counter the High-Mount Stabilizer's push toward the driver's side.
