Modern Geometry: The Penumbra Tilted Asscher Bezel RingIts not just a ring; its a compass pointing to your future. The Penumbra Bezel Set Engagement Ring with Tilted Asscher Cut takes the hypnotic, step cut beauty of the vintage Asscher shape and rotates it 45 degrees. This "Kite" orientation transforms the square stone into a diamond shape, creating a bold, architectural look that elongates the finger while preserving the stone's famous "Hall of Mirrors" depth. Why Youll Love This Ring: The "Kite"

It’s not just a ring; it’s a compass pointing to your future. The Penumbra Bezel Set Engagement Ring with Tilted Asscher Cut takes the hypnotic, step-cut beauty of the vintage Asscher shape and rotates it 45 degrees. This "Kite" orientation transforms the square stone into a diamond shape, creating a bold, architectural look that elongates the finger while preserving the stone's famous "Hall of Mirrors" depth.

Why You’ll Love This Ring:

  • The "Kite" Advantage: By tilting the Asscher cut, the corners point North and South. This simple shift creates a more dynamic, elongated silhouette on the hand compared to a standard square setting.
  • Penumbral Bezel: The name "Penumbra" refers to the sleek Full Bezel Setting that wraps entirely around the stone. It creates a "shadow" of gold that defines the geometric edges, protecting the stone while making the white flashes of the Asscher cut pop.
  • Vintage Meets Modern: You get the 1920s Art Deco appeal of the step-cut Asscher, updated with a minimalist, snag-free bezel that is perfect for the modern active woman.
  • Hypnotic Depth: Unlike sparkling radiant cuts, the Asscher cut draws the eye deep into the center of the stone. The bezel frame acts like a picture frame, focusing all attention on this optical illusion.

 "People Also Ask" (FAQ Section)

Q: What is the difference between a Princess and Asscher cut in a kite setting?
A: Both look like diamonds when tilted, but the sparkle is different. A Princess cut has "crushed ice" sparkle, while an Asscher cut has long, linear "steps" that create flashes of light (like a hall of mirrors). The Asscher also has cropped corners, which look softer and more sophisticated in a bezel.

Q: Does the bezel block the light?
A: No. While a bezel covers the sides, the Asscher cut is designed to reflect light entering from the top (table) of the stone. The bezel actually enhances contrast, making the white and dark steps of the cut more distinct and mesmerizing.

Q: Is this ring stackable?
A: Yes! The "Kite" orientation creates a V-shape at the bottom of the setting. This pairs perfectly with a Chevron or Curved Wedding Band, which will nestle against the point for a seamless, locked-in look.

Slow, sorry but good
Format: Kindle
This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

Very detailed! Beautiful world building! Strong Heroine!
Format: Kindle
Starts off a little slow and confusing with different POV’s, but starts to all come together towards the middle to make an elaborate plot line and makes it all worth it. Beautiful world building and attention to detail as well as great writing. The cliffhanger was gut wrenching! Can’t wait for the next book!

Interesting
Format: Kindle
This was a very captivating book once you got into it thoroughly. But the third person perspective was a bit hard to get used to. But as you got into it and followed the different characters, it was interesting and filled with intrigue, conflict and forbidden love. I can’t wait to read the next one and to complete the series.

Addicting!
Format: Kindle
I could not stop reading. It was so refreshing to have a series start so completely different than most fated mates/fantasy academy rh I’ve been reading. From the desert scenery to the magic and feeding plus the psychological trauma the characters are there to deal with. Pandora is absolutely adorable and I totally relate to hiding behind my hair. I love that she’s literally the most scary type of demon but it’s not the usual “badass mc” persona (which I do love a badass that can fend for herself and kick ass from the start but it was a nice change of pace). I’m not usually a big fan of bully within the harem but each character has their reasons for their actions and also conflicting feelings about them. I adore Dex and Reed! Complete opposites but their personalities and inner monologues made them instant favs. I can’t wait to see the character growth with the guys and continued strength for Pandora. The captivating characters and references to the Fate Hallow series added so much depth and now I need another reread while I wait for book 2. The concept of magic and the unique feeding habits of the demon characters were intriguing. I can't wait for the next book to continue this thrilling journey. In summary, this book is a must-read for fantasy and magic academy rh fans. With its enchanting characters, nods to the Fate Hallow series, and imaginative concepts, it offers an immersive reading experience that hwill leave you craving for more.

Best academy I've read this year
Format: Kindle
I need a few things when it comes to a first book of a PNR romance series 1-Good world building (which this totally did) 2-An FMC I can root for (oh hell yes, Pandora is someone I can cheer for) 3-Good drama (can you say GROVEL BOYS!) 4-Enough story to make you feel like you really read something with meat (you saw this book is like 600 pages, yeah?) 5-A hook at the end so I want more! (please, Lyra, gimmie more?!? I need more!!) Be aware this book is a slow burn, but damn do I feel like there'll be some big payoff when it finally happens. Who doesn't like the buildup?
