The 65 Ton Hercules series are the most powerful in the Baumr-AG range, and boast an array of innovative features that make them best of breed.

The diesel driven HDS800 makes light work of the toughest Australian hardwoods, rupturing Gum and Ironbark logs into quarters at the flick of a lever. The HDS800 is highly versatile and user friendly. It splits wood in both horizontal and vertical positions so you can avoid lifting heavy logs onto the splitter. The convenient working table allows working room/storage for multiple timbers and is removable so the unit can be transformed into a much slimmer width for better storage. Its removable 4-Way head splits 4 timbers from one log and is uniquely mounted with no fixed bolts for quick interchange of wedge type.

Power from the massive diesel four-stroke is transferred via a patented DirectDrive for maximum efficiency, no vibration, and no required servicing. This class-leading combination equates to industry leading performance, and with premium all-terrain 16 inch extra wide rubber tyres the HDS800 is extremely transportable through all kinds of terrain meaning you can split timber just about anywhere.

Splitters in the Hercules range are the only to offer a Proper Australian (Non US Type) 50mm Trailer Coupling and a unique heavy-duty fixed stripper to remove any wood stuck to the wedge on the return cycle.Moreover, they feature an extra-large quick‐release fold‐away Jockey Wheel with Integrated Dual‐Action Foot activated brake that prevents rolling or pivoting.

The HDS800 has just two neat genuine Benmar® hoses. These are the ultimate in hydraulic hosing and are encapsulated by Baumr-AG's patented HoseGuard™. This exclusive spiral system ensures the hoses keep their shape to prevent interfering with controls, and offer an additional layer of protection which is crucial when towing.
