Greg, Simon, and Stephen are leaders with Christian School Management, present and former Heads of School, leaders with over 100 years of experience between them, and committed to extending the Kingdom. Our intention is to bring hope and inspire you.
Christian School Management was founded in 2017 to reverse the decline in Christian education. Its mission is For Jesus; Through Mission; With Students. It is a 501(c)3 operated by committed Christian school leaders providing advice and counsel through Empower, CSM's weekly newsletter, through consulting, workshops, surveys, Trustee online training, and other resources. It works across denominational boundaries to build God's kingdom "on earth as it is heaven".
ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
Greg is the Principal/CEO of Catholic Central High School, the nation's oldest Catholic, co-ed, diocesan high school and the largest school in the Diocese of Grand Rapids (MI). As an educator, Greg is passionate about schools that are faith-based and desire excellence. He believes schools must know their purpose, have high expectations, and offer relentless support to students.
Simon has been Executive Director of CSM since August 2017. He consults directly with Christian schools, provides Association and school-hosted workshops, writes Entheos (the CSM weekly advice and counsel letter), and works to extend God's kingdom by training and coaching other Christian school leaders to work with CSM. Simon is passionate about reversing the decline in Christian education that has happened during the 21st century. He works to ensure that Christian schools are healthy and full of joy. Simon currently worships at The Gathering Place, an evangelical non-denominational church in his hometown of Ridgetown, Ontario.
Originally from Wales, Steve has over 30 years of PK-12 independent school education experience and teaching prowess in Wales, Scotland, and the Unites States. Steve has served as the District Representative for the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) since 2006. In that capacity, he has led workshops and served on several accreditation teams. In 2002, Steve was the founding Headmaster of a successful classical, Christian school in Houston. He is an ordained Presbyterian elder.
