Texas Ebony Block TE795 2.9" x 2.9" x 6.2" 2.4 lbs. Here's an eye-catching block of Texas Ebony that captures the transition from heartwood to sapwood. The grain runs roughly parallel to the long axis of the block and has sweeping curves along several of the faces. There are a few knots in each of these that enhance the beauty of the grain. This piece has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. The "wet" photos give you a preview of the finished color of the Texas Ebony. We use alcohol to dampen the wood without affecting its dryness. This block does have several cracks as shown in the photos. These are common in Texas Ebony. We recommend treating those cracks with thin CA glue prior to turning. See close-up photos. There are often hidden knots inside these blocks, some of which may have void space. You can often leave these open as the wood is incredibly strong, or you can fill with CA glue if you prefer the closed look. |

Coupling for casters is garbage making casters usless
Coupler from casters is garbage, tack welded sheetmetal and nut. Won't hold table top weight . Broke second time I moved it.

An average table support.
These table legs are made of "jointed", threaded, 3/4inch steel pipes and it is imperative that they are assembled correctly and evenly; if not, the table will be wobbly and unstable. Need to ensure that the joints are fully tight. The assembly instructions are vague, so you may face some frustration during assembly if you're not too mechanically inclined. It is possible to modify the design of the legs to meet your specific needs, but you may need to purchase additional 3/4 inch piping and couplings at your local plumbing store. Good luck!
