He stole from the rich and gave to the poor—and you have an opportunity to join in the lore with the Robin Hood 1 oz Silver Coin. Minted by Mason Mint for the island nation of Niue, these silver coins are legal tender with a $2 denomination.

Round Highlights:

  • Contains 1 Troy Oz .999 fine Silver.
  • Individual rounds come in protective plastic multiples of 20 will come sealed in a coin tube.
  • Obverse: Features the side profile of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She faces right and wears her royal diadem. The background (also known as the field) of the coin uses an eye-catching radial line finish. This doubles as a visually pleasing decoration and as a clever anti-counterfeiting measure. Inscriptions along the outer rim include "ELIZABETH II," the issuing country "NIUE," the face value "TWO DOLLARS," and the year-date "2021."
  • Reverse: Depicts Robin Hood aiming an arrow just off-center from the viewer. "OUTLAW HERO" and "ROBIN HOOD" are inscribed at the top and bottom of the design, respectively, in a classic Old English font. Near the middle of the design is a Robin-Hood-themed coat of arms. It includes small inscriptions for the coin's weight and purity, reading "1 TROY OZ .999 FINE SILVER." In the backdrop, a scene of Robin Hood riding his horse, bow and arrow ready, is set against scenery of period-appropriate medieval buildings.

Easy Read with good case studies!!
Format: Paperback
I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!

Helpful
Format: Paperback
This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.

Good book!
Format: Paperback
Very helpful book for pathophysiology. The CD not only gives you answers to the case studies but gives you clear details of the clinical Pathophysiology of a particular disease. Definitely recommend it to students going for their Master's degree!

No Answers Provided to Case Studies
Format: Paperback
The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . ) I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.
