To use the Mani-Mag effectively, follow these simple steps:
- Place your nail inside the "U" of the Mani-Mag. You can paint all 5 fingers at once with a set of 5!
- While your nails are in the holder, apply your favorite magnetic nail polish as you normally would. Make sure to apply a slightly heavier coat than usual for the best results.
- Watch the magnetic effect: As the magnetic particles in the polish move, you will see the velvet effect start to form. This happens because of the magnet's interaction with the particles in the polish.
- Leave your nails in the holder: Let your nails stay in the Mani-Mag holder while the polish sets to ensure a clean, smudge-free finish. It's a good idea to leave your nails in the holder even after applying the top coat to prevent any smearing.
- Allow the top coat to dry fully: Since some top coats can affect the polish underneath while still wet, keeping your nails in the holder until the top coat dries is recommended for the best finish.
-Get a set of 5 so that you can do all 5 nails at once instead of waiting for each coat on each finger to dry!

With this method, you'll achieve a flawless, magnetic velvet effect with ease and efficiency!

This is the updated design: I originally created the Mani-Mag in Dec 2023, which required users to insert the magnets themselves. This often led to issues such as magnets falling out, causing smudges, or even breaking. With the new design (April 2024), I've improved the magnet orientation and incorporated built-in magnets into the holder, ensuring they stay securely in place and making the process much more reliable and hassle-free.

The Story Behind the Design:
I designed this as an alternative for making the “U” shape using the magnetic wands to create the viral “velvet nails” that has become popular using magnetic nail polish. This holder holds the magnets in place for you to rest your fingers on as the magnetic nail polish dries, creating the "velvet nails" effect.

Due to the nature of the 3D printing process, imperfections may be present on the finished product. You will not receive an item I would not use myself.
