When to Replace
- The washer fills and drains but does not spin or agitate.
- Loud squealing, thumping, or grinding noises are present during a cycle.
- The existing belt is visibly cracked, frayed, stretched, or broken.
Installation Tips
- Disconnect the washer from power and water supplies before starting service.
- Access the belt and pulleys by removing the rear service panel of the appliance.
- Install the new belt by first securing it on the motor pulley, then stretching it over the large drum pulley.
- Manually rotate the drum to check that the belt is properly seated and aligned in the grooves.
