HDPE pipe is manufactured with quality recycled materials to SABS specifications providing quality and durability when used for different applications.
HDPE is a polyethylene thermoplastic made from petroleum. HDPE is resistant to many different solvents and has multiple applications and is strong through high temperatures. When comparing failure ratings when exposed to events like sun, stress, wind, heat or cold, HDPE is proven to be durable.
HDPE pipe is suitable for higher-pressure applications, mainly used for irrigation/boreholes in the agricultural, mining and construction industry.
Our irrigation pipes are non-SABS but we manufacture them according to SABS specifications.

Areas of Application
- SIZES: 16mm to 110mm (class 6,10,12,16 and 20).
HDPE can carry water, wastewater, slurries, chemicals, and hazardous wastes. - HDPE pipes are safe for water applications e.g. drinking water and agricultural irrigation.
- Disinfectants such as chlorine and chloramine are approved for use in HDPE pipes.
- HDPE pipes deliver strong, long-lasting performance with a lightweight price tag.
- HDPE pipes connect with compression fittings.
- HDPE pipes can be used in trench-less applications where digging is difficult or impossible.
- HDPE material may be used for above-ground pipeline installations as it is UV protected and if it meets the hydrostatic pressure requirements of the design.
Please note that above-ground installations in extreme winter conditions can result in a shrinkage/expansion of 10% and needs to be considered during storage and installation.
