The PRS SE NF 53 returns refreshed for 2026 and with it brings timeless tone mixed with vintage spirit. Designed to enhance and bring out the best tonal qualities of traditional T-style single-cutaway guitars, the SE NF 53 brings a modern twist to the well loved design.

Constructed from a single-cut solid swamp ash body, the NF 53 is lightweight, resonant, and balanced. Swamp ash is well sought after for its strong low-end, bright highs, and slightly scooped midrange. The body is finished in a truly stunning Black Doghair finish that pops against the multi-ply binding, exposed silver magnets on the pickups, and the brass saddles on the bridge.

A maple neck is bolted to the body by 4-bolts and features a 25.5-inch scale length, 10-inch radius, and NF 53 neck profile which feels similar to a rounded C shape. The neck is crowned with 22, PRS SE Standard frets and the signature PRS Birds inlay for fret markers. High quality hardware like the PRS Plate-Style bridge and PRS Designed Tuners with Wing Buttons ensure solid intonation and tuning performance.

For its sonic voice, 2 PRS Narrowfield DD "S" noiseless humbuckers are employed to deliver vintage-inspired tones without the unwanted hum of a traditional single-coil. Built using taller bobbins, these pickups fit more winds and extra metal pieces in between magnets for a more focused, powerful tone - they also handle gain extremely well while still delivering the classic twang of a T-style guitar. Tone can further be sculpted using the 3-way switch, volume, and tone controls.
