Instead of mushrooming, our hollow points are designed so that after 1-2" of penetration, 6 blades break off and radiate outward in a star pattern while the base continues through for even deeper penetration.
A minimum of 1500fps impact velocity is required for the hollow point to function as intended.
The required twist rate for these bullets is 1:12" or faster. These bullets are not recommended for use in rifles with a twist faster than 1-6".
This versatile bullet comes with 50 Raptor™ tips uninstalled. User has the option to install tips if desired to increase the BC. Tips can be installed with a press, or by using light force on a flat surface.
