The bottom section of the factory airbox easily supports power levels up to 500hp. But the factory airbox lid and ducting to the turbo inlet are too restrictive for higher power levels. Therefore do88 focused on eliminating the bottlenecks in the airbox lid and turbo inlet ducting. Our design features a one piece plastic molded upper air box lid with 3 1/8" (80mm) intake duct with perfectly smooth transitions to vastly reduce turbulence and restrictions before the turbo inlet. This way we can keep the clean almost factory look air intake system and still support high power levels (up to 500hp), 100% bolt on without modifications to the car. do88 air intake system has 44% better air flow than factory setup (Complete do88 intake system with BMC airfilter and do88 turbo inlet pipe). Verified in our own SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench (See diagram below). Our intake system is designed to improve the flow / lower the negative pressure and at the same time only draw cold air. Many aftermarket intake systems draw hot air from the engine bay, resulting in high IAT and therefore loss in power / performance. Our solution keeps the factory fresh air ducting system which is a true cold air intake. do88 Performance Turbo intake system fits both car with and without secondary air injection (SAI) port in the air box lid. As an option in this kit you can choose to include an upgrade BMC high-flow panel filter to replace the factory paper filter. This air filter offers increased flow and perfect filtration. Another option for this kit is to include the do88 3" turbo inlet pipe to further upgrade your turbo intake system. We recommend to use our Performance Turbo intake system with our 3; inlet pipe as those are matched to each other for best possible uniform flow. do88 performance turbo air intake system comes as a complete package with all parts needed for installation. When you order this kit, there is three choices that has to be made: 1. Air filter: Choose "BMC Panel filter" if you like to order your intake system with an matching air filter. ' Choose "Without filter" of you prefer to order the intake system without air filter. 2. Turbo inlet pipe: Choose "With inlet pipe" if you want to include the do88 3" (76mm) Performance Turbo inlet pipe. Choose "OEM" if you want the performance intake kit to fit with factory 2,75" (70mm) Turbo inlet pipe. Choose "do88" if you want the performance intake kit to fit with do88 3" (76mm) Turbo inlet pipe. 3. Color: Three different hose colors are available Blue / Black / Red. There are no performance difference between the different colors, choose which color you think will be best for your car. |

Very Easy Warranty Claim Process!!
I have purchased a lot of Asurion warranties for products on Amazon over the past 5 years. This is the first time I've had to use the warranty. The Tineco vacuum mop that I purchased wasn't working well at all. I looked online to see how to file a warranty claim with Asurion. I had purchased the top line Tineco almost 3 years ago and my warranty was for 3 years. I was concerned that there might be an issue due to the amount and/or because the warranty was getting close to the end of the warranty period (3 years).
Filing the claim was all online and walked you through all of the steps - very easy to follow and understand. They emailed a shipping label to me (they paid for shipping) and sent the Tineco to them. I figured it would be a lengthy and difficult process. After they received everything, they promptly denied the claim and closed the it. They said my personal information didn't match. I called them and discovered that since I was using a different email address, they couldn't match it up. The customer service agent changed the information and refiled the claim for me. I received another shipping label and used it to ship the Tineco back to them. They notified me when they received the Tineco and told me they would let me know after the repair department had looked at it. I received notification within a few hours that they could not fix it and would issue an Amazon Gift Card for the price that I paid for the Tineco (no tax included, of course). The Gift Card was in my account within a few hours! That had to be the easiest warranty claim I've ever made!
I highly recommend Asurion for their warranties. The only thing I would suggest is that they change the warranty documentation to make it clear that they need the email address you filed the claim under and give you a place to put your new email address, if it has changed.
I will not hesitate to continue to purchase Asurion warranties for products on Amazon!
I like the idea of the monthly claim amount that is available for $16.99 per month, but you would have to buy a lot of products and warranty them for that to be equitable. I did the math and realized that I would have to purchase warranties for products that total $2,039 - $4,078 per year, every year (based on the charge of 10%-15% per warranty) to equal what I would pay for the individual warranties. I don't buy that many products that need warranties though, so it's not a value for me at all. IF I purchased the monthly warranty ($16.99 per month) and later decided that I didn't want to continue to pay that amount, none of my products would be warrantied! So, I had to really think about it first. I couldn't justify the monthly charge forever for the amount of products I purchase that can be warrantied. }
Asurion - please consider offering the same warranty at a lower price per month - maybe you could put a cap on the dollar amount allowed to make it feasible for everyone. I would be very interested if the price wasn't so much.

Fast and no hassle protection of your expensive product purchases
Had an issue with my expensive floor cleaning robot breaking after less than 2 years (i.e. 1 year in to this 3 year extended protection plan). After submitting an online claim, they sent me a 1 page form to fill-out and provided a shipping label to return the large and heavy robot. Within 3 days, they sent me an email saying they couldn't repair it and provided a FULL-REFUND via an Amazon gift card # which successfully credited to my Amazon account.
