This version of "Crashing Through" was recorded in 1986, produced by Patrick Maley at Yo-Yo Studio. The mix is by Jim Meyering, who worked with several Seattle bands in the '80s, including Dangerbunny (featuring members of The Beakers, Dangerbunny released music on early K cassettes). This mix of "Crashing Through" was recently discovered on a reel of mixes Jim Meyering made of several Yo-Yo Beat Happening recordings forgotten in the archive. It was deemed worthy of seeing the light of day, as you'll surely agree. "Crashing Through" was re-recorded in 1987 by Steve Fisk for the second Beat Happening album Jamboree. The B side of this single, "The This Many Boyfriends Club", is also an earlier, alternate to what appeared on Jamboree. This version of the song was recorded at a live performance in Corvallis, Oregon, early 1987. Cover art by Beat Happening member Heather Lewis.

Different mounting mechanism than photos

I'm going to start off this review by stating that the mounting mechanism used on the Shelf is different than the one shown in the photo. In the photo, it shows a single bar which would have made the Shelf easier to level however, the product I received has two separate bars which means I have to be extra careful holding a level against the paper. Stencil. The reason I chose this product over different listings was because for a dollar or two more its photo showed a single bar. Now for the pros and cons: Pros: Accurate measurement. Shelf appears to be actual wood! The photos made it looks like a veneer, which it is not. Easy to install. Includes good instructions. Seems like it can hold items fairly well. Cons: The mounting hardware for drywall pretty flimsy, and I stripped out some of the drywall anchors during install. They still worked, but it was annoying to finish inserting them. The shelf doesn't sit fully flush to the wall from factory as the screws included make it protrude slightly. I can fix this with my dremel, However, This could have been solved from the factory by making the cavity slightly deeper. As mentioned above in my main detractor, it is a two bar mounting system rather than a one bar, which was shown in the photo.

They have an unfinished feel, and the underside screws used to hold the shelf on the poles strip out really easy. Tighten those by hand and with care. Other than that, they look great and were easy to install. Came with a full set of hardware including anchors for various wall types. Stable enough to hold small to medium sized Lego sets (don't try to put Lego Hogwarts size kits on them--not big enough). Bought 3 sets of 4 and used others as Book shelves. They work very well for novel size or paperback sized books. Just make sure you anchor them well into the wall. These will only be as good as the installation.

Thé shelves are good quality and easy to hang. Thé instructions do leave a bit to be desired as they misidentify which anchor to use for dry wall. I followed instructions for the first shelf and it was not very stable. I switched to the other anchors and it was great. All hardware in included. These require minimum size holes in your wall, but it is a floating shelf so be prepared to patch when you take them down.  It’s a set of 4 so a good value!
