Stained Oak - C7R Medium Oak StainStained Oak C7R Stained Medium Oak We prefer to stain oak mouldings ourselves, giving a more traditional finish. First we sand the oak frame by hand, smoothing out the sharp edges. We apply two coats of spirit stain to achieve the colour that we are looking for. Then we paint two coats of French Polish to the stain to give a sealed finish for the final coats of wax. Finally we polish the frame to a soft sheen.
