Setting out with a new standard for acoustic guitars, we have the Martin Standard Series HD-28 Ambertone. This stellar entry into the Martin Standard Series stakes a claim for a new standard of care, quality, and sound by which all other Martins can live by.

For this Martin Standard Series model, we're met with a timeless Martin experience recontextualized for the modern era. The HD-28, a classic of classics for Martin acoustics, receives new life in the Standard Series. With a seamless shape and robust musicality, the Standard Series HD-28 Amberton hits just the right balance of quality and accessibility. This all kicks off with a Martin D-14 body shaped from a spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides. Commanding and comfortable and decked in a shady Ambertone burst finish, this body features a top fitted with GE "Golden Era" scalloped spruce braces in a forward-shifted X-bracing pattern. This HD-28 Ambertone plays with an exceptional balance of precision and projection through these woods and braces as it summons an authoritative Martin tone.

This experience continues on with a select hardwood neck assuming a GE Modified Low Oval profile with a High Performance neck taper. Satin-finished and primed for performance, this neck features an inviting touch that inspires long paying sessions across its full scale. The neck of this HD-28 is matched with an ebony fingerboard lines with twenty frets. Diamonds and Squares Long abalone fret inlays appear across the dark board for that elevated element of authenticity. This neck and body come together through a dovetail neck joint making for a solid connection between the two parts and an overall resonant and fluid musical experience.

Along with these construction specifications, this Martin Standard Series HD-28 Ambertone lines up a suite of hardware parts to really make the whole of the guitar shine. For one, this Standard Series comes fitted with a bone nut and compensated bone saddle to ground strings stably and ensure easy and responsive playing. Nickel open gear tuning machines align at the headstock for smooth stringing. Totally, this Standard Series plays with all the precision and ease you've come to expect from Martin acoustic guitars.

This whole experience wraps up with a couple of flourishes for visuals. The model's top spruce and East Indian back and sides features Martin's 1933 Ambertone burst gloss finish for an overall weathered and worn-in aesthetic. Along with its color, this model is wrapped in Antique White binding with Bold Herringbone top inlay and lined with a Zig-Zag and black stripe back strip. A Style 28 Multi-Stripe rosette rounds the soundhole while a Script Old Style overlay details the headstock. This Standard Series travels with an included Martin ply hardshell case.

Martin stands tall with their Standard Series HD-28 Ambertone. Matching a generational Martin sound and modern considerations for playability and style, this Standard Series fits the bill as a Martin classic as you've always known it.

Finally, a sturdy oversized ball my boy can't destroy! And can pick up easily
This is just wonderful! My dog has destroyed all other balls! I think this is finally one he cannot destroy. And I love the holes so he can pick it up and throw it himself. LOL. And it BOUNCES, bringing him endless joy and skill in catching it. Cause you don't know which way it will bounce off the ground. Oversize was just right for him. Glad to have found this great sturdy ball.

Almost perfect...upraised logo should be left off
This toy is great for relentless chewers with strong jaws! It would be almost perfect if it didn't have a "K9" logo in raised rubber on it. That is the place that my aggressive chewer shepherd/bulldog mix focuses on and is able to get small chunks off. Without that logo, he would chew the ball more evenly, instead of fixating on that one spot. He loves this ball and has chewed on it for about an hour off & on each of the 11 days he has had it. Although it is very durable so far, the flaw is the upraised logo.

Perfect for High-Drive Dogs & Surprisingly Durable (six month review)
I use this ring ball for structured fetch and tug sessions with my high-drive German Shepherd mix (91 lbs. at 10 mon.), and it’s easily the best toy we’ve added to our routine. What makes it truly exceptional is how it allows my dog to engage in the full canine predatory sequence: • Chase: He locks in visually and bolts after the ring when I throw it. • Grab & Hold: He brings it back, pins it against my leg, and bites down firmly (the toy—not the leg!)—his way of acting out the natural catch-and-control behavior. • Unalive & Tug: We finish with a strong tug session, which satisfies his instinct to grip and shake—basically his version of “making the toy unalive.” • Settle & Chew: Afterward, he relaxes with a chew toy or eats—completing the full physical and mental cycle in a healthy, balanced way. Durability is outstanding—this toy stands up to intense tug sessions with no tearing or damage, even with a 91 lb powerhouse. My senior dog also joins in for double tug play, and it holds up beautifully to that too. I don’t leave this toy down for chewing—it’s not a chew toy. I use it specifically for fetch and tug, then put it away when we’re done. This keeps it exciting and extends its lifespan. My dog has other chew toys he can use freely throughout the day. This isn’t just another fetch toy—when thoughtful it provides a structured, instinct-satisfying experience that’s mentally enriching and physically engaging. If you have a high-drive or working breed, or a dog who thrives on interactive play, this ring ball is 100% worth it.

The best freetoes socks ever
Color: Black, Grey
Love this toeless socks so much! I could wear it all day. Very comfortable! It is just the right thickness which is suitable in summer time or cold weather as well. Most of the toeless socks I have seen have the gel on the heel area and I don't like the feel of it. I'd rather apply lotion on my heel then wear the socks. I have had some issues with the packaging from Amazon and I made the maker of this said socks aware of it. Julia Bebben was very prompt in her response and very helpful. Thank you Julia for your excellent customer service.
