Estee Lauder founded her self-titled company in 1946, along with her husband Joseph. Mrs. Lauder believed that inner beauty could be brought out of any woman, so she made it her mission to make this belief a reality. She first delved into the cosmetic and skincare industry with the help of her uncle, a chemist who also happened to be a skin care specialist.
