1960年代のSPHINXのビジューイヤリング。花のようなオープンワークのメタルに、マロンブラウンのカボションルーサイトとクリアストーンがセットされた優美なデザイン。

暖かなブラウンの艶めきにクリアストーンがキラキラと白い輝きを添え、気品漂う美しさ。身に纏えば、アール・ヌーヴォーを思わせる柔らかな華やかさでお顔周りを演出してくれます。

1948年にイギリスで創業したジュエリーカンパニー。まるで本物のジュエリーに見える、高品質で美しいデザインのコスチュームジュエリーを制作していました。自社製品の他にもKenneth Jay Lane、Nina Ricciなどのデザイナーや、ヨーロッパやアメリカの高級デパート向けにジュエリーデザインを手掛けていました。
刻印には"SPHINX"とシリアルナンバー、またはどちらか一方が刻まれましたが、需要を満たすために刻印をせず、急いで出荷していた時期も。会社は1990年代後半に閉業しました。
