WFF100 WISY Vortex Rainwater FilterThe WISY WFF 100 is engineered for small to mid size roofs up to 2,100 sq ft, with the option to combine multiple units for more coverage. For larger projects, the WFF 150 handles up to 5,500 sq ft. Inside the filter, a spinning vortex pushes water through 280 micron stainless steel mesh (440 micron available), sending clean water to storage and debris to the drain. Typically installed in line with your piping, it captures up to 95% of clean rainwater

Operating Conditions
- Suitable for outdoor below-grade or indoor installation
- Not a sealed/closed system; must not remain flooded for extended periods
- Indoor installation requires a floor drain in the installation room
- Indoor max inflow must not exceed 66 GPM
- In loamy soil, provide drainage beneath the filter or seal housing joints externally before installation
- For installations too deep or under excessive load, a concrete shaft is required
Compatible Roof Surfaces
- Slate, clay tile, concrete tile, sheet metal, foil/membrane roofing
- Asphalt shingles: suitable for non-potable (flushing, laundry); generally not recommended for potable, testing untreated runoff is essential if pursuing
- Green roofs: not recommended (retention and discoloration concerns)
- Bitumen roofs: not recommended (possible discoloration from tar and carbon leaching)
- Asbestos-cement roofs: not compatible (must be renovated before connection)
