Pecan Board P-459 1.8" x 6.2" x 12.2"Pecan Board P 459 1. 8" x 6. 2" x 12. 2" 4. 6 lbs. This is a beautiful board of moderately spalted Texas grown Pecan wood. Its color is a soft tan to peachy light brown color with subtle darker brown streaks of spalt coloration. There are a many zones of mineralization as well as lines of black pencil line spalting. The wood grain has a pleasant and gracefully flowing pattern. This piece is GREEN to partially air dried, meaning that it still retains a

Its color is a soft tan to peachy light brown color with subtle darker-brown streaks of spalt coloration. There are a many zones of mineralization as well as lines of black pencil-line spalting. The wood grain has a pleasant and gracefully flowing pattern. This piece is GREEN to partially air-dried, meaning that it still retains a lot of its original moisture from when it was a living tree.. Moisture content was 20-25% when measured in May, 2022. It has been well-sealed with Anchor Seal and is in the process of slowly drying. It was heat-treated to kill off any hungry critters that may have been burrowing inside. If you need a current moisture content, please message us and we'll check its status for you. This piece of Pecan has plenty of character in it. There are open, during-growth cracks that have spalting along them. There are borer holes, most with spalting. Some are open, others are frass-filled. This piece is rough-sawn with surface irregularities and non-square faces; you'll want to plane and joint it if planning to use it in flatwork. Terrible delivery system. Unable to use

I know the product is good because the cream form works well. The spray product is terrible. With both sprayers, I could not get the spray to work. I am not an idiot and I know how the sprays should work, but they don't. A product is no good if you can't get it out to use. It is awful. I will NEVER buy this product again unless they change the delivery system. NEVER!
