The cherries are macerated whole with their stones intact, which imparts a delicate almond note alongside the fruit.
The result is rich but balanced, with the natural sweetness of ripe cherry tempered by a subtle tang and almond undercurrent. Serve well chilled as an aperitif, or use it to add depth to a Kir.
