Constructed with an alder/maple/alder body, this bass delivers a blend of warmth, punch, and enhanced midrange definition, making it easy to cut through a mix. The 5-piece maple and mahogany neck ensures durability and stability while maintaining responsiveness. A rosewood fingerboard with a 10-inch radius provides smooth playability across all 21 medium frets, while lightweight open-gear tuners help balance the instrument for comfortable performance.

At the heart of the BB734A is its YGD Custom V7 pickup set, featuring an Alnico V split single-coil in the neck and a single-coil in the bridge, providing rich low-end depth and articulate highs. The 3-band EQ allows precise tonal shaping, and a dedicated active/passive switch lets players transition between punchy, modern sounds and a classic, organic P-bass feel.
