Of the 48 colours, all but 8 are based on a single pigment. Like Horadam Watercolours, colours thin with water and are easily rewetted if left to dry on the palette. Horadam Gouache is so finely ground, it can even be used for 0.15 mm airbrush work. Many other brands of gouache are "designer" gouaches, with an emphasis on accurate pre-mixed colours for use by the designer. By contrast, Horadam is a "fine artist" gouache, with an emphasis on providing the classic range of pigments as pure, single-pigment colours.
