Description The Evac compression dry bag from Sea to Summit made of 70D Cordura nylon allows even compression thanks to 4 straps and can be used in many ways. Attached to kayaks or bicycles, it is a great companion for your adventures in the open air. By squeezing air out but no water can penetrate, your equipment stays dry and can be compressed small. Thanks to the oval shape of the base, it is also easy to stack. The Evac Dry Bag from Sea to Summit has been awarded the bluesign® seal. This marks products that have been produced particularly low in harmful substances and exclude environmentally harmful substances from the start. For a reliable seal, the rolltop closure is equipped with patented field repair buckles. These can be replaced in seconds with a Phillips screwdriver. The Sea to Summit Evac compression dry bag is made from a 70D high-performance material that offers you the hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm. great waterproof cell phone case.
needed a waterproof case for my cell phone when working Emergency Communications with my Amateur Radio equipment and it's raining or snowing. This should work well to protect my cell phone. Zipper seems are sealed really well. Tested the case using sink prior to using with a cell phone.

Well made and air tight
Love the little pouch it comes in handy for camping,hunting and fishing if your in not so great weather.
Not sure how the zipper is made but it's definitely air tight and can feel the difference when sealed.
The zipper is a little tough opening and closing but that's probably due to the nature of it being waterproof.
Hope it stays that way after long term use!

Nice pouch with a small opening
This is a nice weatherproof pouch.
It has enough slots for storage of small items like pen/pencil, small notebook, a bootable USB key (for emergency), and I have a fire starting kit in there.
It is well built, and I really like the materials used for this pouch. The design though, is less than stellar.
One thing, and this is a major issue for me, is that the zipper only opens at the top section of the pouch. I wish it opened more so it is easier to put things in and out of this. But I do understand that it is by design that they selected such a short zipper to keep it as weather proof as possible. The larger the zipper, the higher the likelihood of water leaking into the pouch.
Aside from that major issue, I do like the pouch, and I use it in my EDC bag.
If I need to replace this for some reason or another, I probably will not be buying this one again. I suspect that this will last a long time though.
