Northwest Guitars stainless steel fretwire is designed for builders and players who demand long-lasting performance and exceptional tone. Crafted from 304CU stainless steel — the most widely used stainless steel grade worldwide — these frets offer a tighter grain structure and smoother surface than traditional alloys, providing a highly polished feel under the fingers.

Known for its superior corrosion and wear resistance, 304CU stainless steel requires minimal maintenance. Unlike traditional nickel-silver frets, it rarely needs re-polishing or refretting, even after years of use. Its strong hardness also means it delivers crisp, articulate tone with excellent sustain and clarity, making it especially well-suited for mid-range electric guitars and basses.

Each piece is precision-cut for a standard fretboard with no undercut, for a clean fit on unbound necks. Ideal for both new builds and professional refrets, Northwest Guitars stainless steel fretwire combines durability, precision, and tonal excellence.

and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition)
This is a required text for Internet Law classes. It is edited very poorly. There are typos on every other page, and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition).

Bad book for SOA exam, but oh well.
Format: Paperback
While required by Society of Actuaries as the textbook for Short Term Actuarial Models exam, I could not recommend this textbook for any other purposes. Written by two Canadian actuaries, a lot of terms and explanations used in this textbook cannot be transferred into US P&C insurance. It fails to explains insurance's purpose and products effectively and as an intro book with unnecessary sentences to deliver personal thoughts. It is also a mess in following sections on ratemaking and reserving. I cannot sense a flow from this book that guides readers in an approachable manner. Overall, author compromises the size AND the quality.
