In NMBR 9, your numbers aren't worth anything unless you've elevated them off the table. NMBR 9 is a puzzle game that's all about tessellation and layering up your tiles. The tiles are representations of the numbers zero to nine - represented as a bunch of squares. You are building up a collection, or a tower, of tiles in front of you, where all tiles must touch. At the end of the game, tiles on the table score nothing. On your next level up, they'll score face value multiplied by one, on the next layer up it's face value multiplied by two and so on. Each turn, a card is drawn from the deck that indicates which tile everyone needs to take and place onto their construction. Tiles must always touch the tiles on the same layer and if you're building upwards then you need to make sure you don't hover over any holes in the layer below. The game is 100% fair. Every player picks the same tiles in the same order and chooses how to place them. That gives you a great feeling when you win! Watch as your friends cry is despair when they can't place that nine tile anywhere but the floor, as you cleverly slide it into level three and grin from ear to ear! With one box of NMBR 9 you can play up to four players, but there is no real limit to the number of players who can play if you have enough copies of the game, making it a great game for large events too!
