Carefully Selected Natural Bristles Only

This brush uses 100% natural bristles—a rich blend of goat hair, boar hair, and horse hair—with no synthetic fibers. The dense bristle volume helps create fine, creamy lather quickly, while the soft tips provide a luxurious, skin-friendly shaving experience for clients.

Traditional Brush-Making Technique

The bristle base is tightly bound with hemp thread and carefully heat-shaped to form a secure knot. The inner shaft is then hand-carved before setting the bristles into place. Every step is completed with meticulous attention to detail to ensure durability and performance.

Manufactured at Akashiya’s China factory and fully inspected in Japan before shipment.

How to Check Water Temperature

• Lightly touch the brush to the back of your hand to test water temperature.
  
• Do not insert fingers into the bristles, as this may cause tangling inside the knot.

Care Instructions

• Do not insert fingers into the bristles, as this may create internal matting.
  
• After washing, dry with the bristles facing downward to maintain shape and hygiene.
  
• Perform “aku-nuki” (initial rinse and preparation) before first use.
