Built for the discerning picker in mind, the Tommy Emmanuel signature model features a Sitka Spruce top with Queensland Maple back and sides. This tonewood combination ensures that you have plenty of thump with crystal clear highs and a defined low end. Not sold yet? Just listen to Tommy Emmanuel! Tommy's tone and playing has defined an entire genre and this signature Maton is Tommy's guitar of choice!
With Tommy's assistance Maton was able to develop their AP5 Pro Pickup system (featured in this guitar). The AP5 Pro is the best acoustic pickup system in the world and features a cardioid microphone (on an adjustable arm) combined with an undersaddle piezo that blend together to create an authentic (yet very customizable) acoustic guitar sound!
