The much-lauded Billy Patrol Pouch is one of Platatac's classic products and is back, better than ever. Battle-proven and performing to the highest standards in some of the harshest field environments worldwide, the new V2 improves on this strong legacy by utilising superior materials whilst shedding weight with increased adaptability and load-carry options
The Billy PatrolPouch V2 is designed to address the frontal space issues associated with belt rigs and to enhance carriage capability. The Billy can haul up to 6 x m4-style magazines or 200 rounds of link in the main compartment. The main compartment can also be fitted with a rigid Velcro-in divider to separate items in the pouch. This is in addition to the enhanced modular back pocket which features a series of Velcro-in inserts that have been developed to increase the versatility of the V2.
The adaptable included inserts are:
- Double M4 style magazine insert
- Single M4 style magazine insert
- Double 9mm pistol magazine insert
- Pistol holster insert
- Zippered admin insert
The Billy Patrol V2 is fabricated in tough 500d Nylon with ultralight laser-cut ULTRAcomp® panels on the sides. ULTRAcomp® is a high-performance laminate that far exceeds the strength and durability of traditional nylon fabrics. These side panels feature 2 rows of Molle for the mounting of any additional pouches the user may require, the back of the pouch also utilises ULTRAcomp® to shed weight and increase strength.
