This limited NAMM Show Honeyburst 354ce Studio 12-String kicks off with a combo of solid Sitka spruce and sapele. A classic Taylor tonewood combo bringing together their esteemed Grand Auditorium cutaway body shape, this base of woods serves as an excellent springboard from which this whole twelve-string experience leaps. The guitar's flavor is sweetened by two elements. The first, Taylor's torrefaction process, in which the guitar's solid Sitka spruce top is heat-treated to bake out imperfections and impart a lived-in quality to it usually found only in much older guitars. The second is Taylor's limited Honeyburst finish that blends wonderfully with the darker tint torrefaction naturally creates. Taylor's V-Class bracing pattern lands with this model for a modern level of projection and balance.
