Krypt  Surf Technology Power Drive Fins are an active fin, with 30 years of  design development and refinement behind them. 

The blade of the Power  Drive Fin is free from the board and moves in response to water pressure  and rider input. 

The harder you turn, the greater the movement and flex  of the blade. 

This results in increased drive, speed and smooth,  powerful acceleration through your turns.

The  principle behind the Krypt Surf Technology Power Drive Fin Design is to  keep as much smooth water flow in contact with the foil of the surfboard fin at  all times. 

The technical term for this process is ‘active laminar  flow.’ 

As the solid fiberglass fin flexes off and over steers the surf board, responding to the rider input and water pressure, the blade of the fin allows the laminar flow of the water to remain attached, storing and releasing energy through each turn.

This also opens up your angle of attack at the lip through bottom turns and
roundhouse cutbacks.
