HOBEの歴史は古く、1887年にフランスの金細工職人Jacques Hobeが高級ジュエリーラインHobe Cieを設立したのが始まりです。その40年後、NYに渡った彼の息子William HobeがアメリカHOBE社を設立。(会社スローガンは"JEWELS OF LEGENDARY SPLENDOR"。)
