Update: Archie is adjusting well to life on three legs. He is still learning how to get around and graze - but is making great progress. Thanks to your generosity, he is receiving the care he needs to survive and thrive. He is finally pain free and so grateful for your support.
A wounded lamb named Archie was rescued from a farm after a nearby animal sanctuary received reports of suspected neglect. His front leg was broken and part of his bone was exposed, leaving him vulnerable to infection. He was transferred to a veterinary hospital for immediate treatment.
Archie’s care team acted quickly, providing him with antibiotics, pain medication, and fluids to stabilize his condition. He needs amputation surgery to prevent the spread of infection.
Even after surgery, Archie will have to navigate life on three legs through physical therapy and continued treatment. You can help this little lamb get the surgery he needs for a fresh start.
Support Archie as he recovers from his injury and traumatic past.
You can help Archie get the treatment he needs to heal. Your gift will not only give him the hope to keep fighting, but your donations will help cover his ongoing care.
Greater Good Charities works to provide emergency medical care to pets in shelters across the country and meet other critical needs, including food, supplies, transportation, sterilization, and disaster relief. With your donation, you can help save the lives of animals like these by covering their care.
Help us meet our goal of 6,000 for Archie and pets like him.
