This Stingray Special Bass embodies a modern interpretation of the classic model, integrating contemporary components and craftsmanship to meet the needs of today's musicians. Constructed from select hardwood, the body retains the distinctive Stingray shape, featuring dual cutaways and a contoured belly for enhanced playability.
The neck of this Stingray Special Bass, anchored with a four-bolt plate, is crafted from roasted maple, subjected to a specialized heating process to enhance its strength and resistance to warping. The fingerboard, made of ebony, boasts an 11-inch radius, 22 frets, and dot inlays, preserving the instrument's traditional aesthetic charm.
Equipped with a custom Music Man neodymium humbucking pickup, this bass produces a powerful and articulate sound, characterized by deep lows and crisp highs, reminiscent of the classic Stingray bass tones. Its electronics feature a versatile 3-band active EQ and a single volume control.
Adorned in a captivating Candyman gloss polyester finish with a matching headstock, this iconic bass comes complete with a hardshell case for secure storage and transportation.
