Starting out with a unique PRS semi-hollow mahogany body with an asymmetric top bevel, the S2 Vela Semi-Hollow Satin is notably light and acoustically resonant. This model’s unique offset, double-cutaway shape is slick, bold and distinctly PRS as it boasts its smooth, satin finish. The mahogany body meets its match with a set, scarfed mahogany neck in a PRS Pattern Regular shape. Combined with a twenty-two-fret rosewood fingerboard, the full experience of the neck is quick and outfitted for easy trips from higher to lower registers. Iconic PRS Birds fret inlays line the rosewood for an unmistakable visual element.

This PRS S2 Vela Semi-Hollow is outfitted with a unique and dynamic PRS pickup configuration. Loaded to the pickguard with many musical places to go, a PRS DS-01 pickup in the treble position produces a bright and powerful tone. This first sonic source is matched with a PRS Narrowfield pickup in the bass position to further widen the palette of sounds possible. A coil-tap tone control allows players to split the treble pickup to incorporate authentic single-coil tonality and get even more out of the entire sonic experience.
