The Full-Race Oil Cooler Kit for the Ford F-150 3.5L EcoBoost is designed to prevent efficiency and power-robbing wear caused by high oil temperatures, especially during high-performance applications, off-road racing, or heavy towing. Using a high-efficiency Setrab Air-to-Oil heat exchanger core, this system can remove substantial heat from the engine oil. To ensure proper lubrication during cold conditions, a thermostat is integrated into the oil filter sandwich adapter, which prevents the cooler from opening until the engine reaches full operating temperature. This provides crucial cooling under high-load while protecting the engine during cold starts and low-load driving.

Notes
- Hot oil degrades and loses viscosity, which can lead to engine wear; this kit prevents that breakdown.
- The kit requires a relocated Front-Mount Intercooler to provide the necessary open space in the front grille area.
