LINE LIGHT 2 - Universal lighting solution with 2 LED lighting units

LINE LIGHT is designed for use anywhere where strong efficient and concentrated light in a specific working area is needed or where the ability to adjust the lighting angle is required.

LINE LIGHT 2 is for universal application on automotive lifts on top of the workbench anywhere in the workshop in the service car in the production etc.

LINE LIGHT concentrates the light in a 75 ° beam angle providing an extremely bright and powerful illumination of the entire working area - almost double illumination compared to traditional 36W fluorescent tubes. Blinding during work is avoided and the lam itself can be turned to provide the optimum lighting angle. The design is slim and compact (only ø25mm).

As LINE LIGHT is a low voltage (24V DC) system you can easily do the installation yourself. All basic fittings are supplied with each kit together with power supply and cable.

LINE LIGHT 2 consists of 2 lighting units 1234mm incl 80W power supply unit 8 m cable and complete suspension fittings.

LINE LIGHT is constructed by a closed extruded acrylic profile (PMMA) with built-in prism containing a LED PCB and end-covers in black anodized aluminium. It is extremely sturdy shock- and waterproof (IP67) to resist wet and dirty workshop environment. The technical lifetime of LEDs is at least 100 000 hours.

Important reading for every working woman!

Let me start by saying that this isn't a genre I am normally drawn to. I usually am a fiction reader, but a trusted friend recommended this book so highly that I felt I should give it a chance. I'm so glad I put aside my hesitation, as I really feel this is a book that every woman in the American workforce should read. It is a fascinating primer in how we got where we are, and how much effort it took to gain even our somewhat compromised equality. While the legal issues involved can be a little complex, Thomas does an excellent job of breaking them down into straightforward concepts. I also really appreciated her ability to make the whole process of moving a case up through the Court of Appeals and eventually to the Supreme Court come to life. For those of us who are not in the legal profession, this process can seem mysterious, but this book made it easy to understand. By clearly and patiently laying out the facts of each case, Thomas also gives the reader the opportunity to test their own assumptions and think through the logic of the cases for themselves. For me, it was a fascinating opportunity to weigh my assumptions about my political leanings against my intellectual analysis of the facts, and I often surprised myself. All in all, I think this is an important book, and also a surprisingly accessible and engaging one. You will feel smarter and much more informed after reading it. And if you are a woman, you may well also feel grateful for those brave women (and men) who fought and struggled to make your experience in the workplace fairer.

It shows not just the impact of law on people, but the impact of people on law. These women's struggles (and those of the advocates at their side) are both infuriating and inspiring. (That was me on the subway yelling at the book, alternating between "WHAT THE HELL?!" and "YOU GO, IDA!") Read it on the train, read it on the beach; just read it. I have a zillion friends with spring birthdays, not to mention my mom (who came of working age during this gender-siloed Mad-Men-tastic era) and I'm buying it for every single one.

I wanted to educate myself on some of the issues that are presented in this book. If you're looking for just factual case-law and supreme court decisions this is not the book you're looking for. This book presents the cases in a story and gives a lot of detail about what went on in the lives of the people involved in these lawsuits outside of the courtroom. The only thing that I wish would have been talked about in greater detail would be a more in-depth look at the opinions and reasons from the justices that were not voting in favor of the plaintiffs.
