This Epiphone Hummingbird Studio constructs its dreadnought silhouette with layered mahogany back and sides and a solid spruce top for outstanding projection and a balanced, warm tone that is unmistakable. In classic fashion, a tortoise shell pickguard is affixed to the top, touting the iconic Hummingbird artwork. A glued-in mahogany neck in the Rounded "C" profile offers perfect, comfortable playability across the traditional 24.75" scale length. Topping the neck is a rosewood fingerboard adorned with pearloid split parallelogram inlays that dazzle and shine at any gig, jam, or practice.

For proper resonance and intonation, a belly-up rosewood bridge is installed with a compensated plastic saddle for perfect string-through tone and easy maintenance. In addition, Epiphone appoints Grover Rotomatic tuning machines to keep all pitches sound and stable.

When recording or strumming live, Epiphone utilizes Fishman electronics—S-Core under saddle pickup and Presys VT preamp—with easy to adjust and access soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls. Just power the pickup with a 9-volt battery (not included), plug into the quarter-inch jack, and transparent amplified tones are at your disposal.
