Research-Supported Benefits:
Protects Cardiac and Endothelial Tissue. Human studies have shown that hydroxytyrosol supplementation decreases inflammatory markers. It also increases production of superoxide dismutase (SOD), the body’s own antioxidant, to reduce tissue damage.1
Promotes Healthy Blood Markers: Hydroxytyrosol metabolites attach to excess lipids in the blood and remove them, leading to a decrease in blood lipids. This reduction can reduce the immune response which is a key factor in aging-related damage to blood vessels.1
